hey, so if you've stumbled onto my blog before and started reading my shitty story and decided that you liked it for God only knows what reason, and so decided to come back to read more or something: too damn bad. I'm giving up on that particular story, it felt way too much like a mix of romeo and Juliet, the boy in the striped pajamas, and if i did like Katie kept telling me to and kill of during the Korean War, cause, though i never got to typing it and putting it on here, i had a lot more to the story written, like that Isaac joined the army after the attack on pearl harbor.) if you're wondering why every line is a different color, its not gay pride or anything like that, i promise i am straight. as you may be able to tell from my layout I'm just extremely random, and bored. speaking of my layout, i didn't create it, but i do get most of the pics and references on there, though i realize many people may have much more of a life than yours truly or just not be as into cartoons, johnny Depp, and Japanese movies. the giant pirate is johnny depp as captain jack sparrow from the infamous pirates of the Caribbean i think the laughing guy is jughead from the Archie comics, sponge bob as an old man (if you don't know who sponge bob is, i can't help you), the little girl with the snow cone is chiyo from memoirs of a geisha after the chairman bought her the snow cone when she was a little girl (GREAT movie, even better book), the guy with the kabobs is L from death note (the live action movie (i heard the movie was really good, i heard it suck i haven't actually seen it yet, but i plan on it and will let you know then)).
umm... i think that's everything on the layout, but if you were wondering about the addicted to the knife thing, it is yet another allusion. my cousin got me into this movie called repo! the genetic opera and its amazing and people get their organs repossessed if they don't make their payments on time... its great lol. in one of the songs in repo! they're talking about drugs (specifically a futuristic drug called zydrate) and paris hilton's character (don't worry its like completely computer on the parts where she sings), amber sweet, is a "scalpel slut," basically, she's addicted to surgery, especially plastic surgery. so when she comes in on one part of the song, the grave robber has a line that says "and amber sweet is addicted to the knife" and i had the song stuck in my head when i made this blog.
if, as I'm sure, many people were wondering about the URL, no i do not mean i look or act like a slut when I'm really a virgin. we did a thing in English class last year and we had to find the origin of our names. i go by my middle name so i got the origin of my first and middle names (Barbara and Kathe (pronounced Katie and comes from Katherine)) and Barbara came from the Greek word for strange and Katherine (Kathe) came from the Greek word for pure, hence strangely-pure, but, of course with my excellent typing skills, i went too fast for my brain and forgot the "t" in strange.
anyways, I'm getting bored and don't fell like typing anymore. ttfn ta ta for now (yes i still like Winnie the pooh lol).
